"North Korea said Monday that it was withdrawing all of its 53,000 workers from the industrial park it runs with South Korea."
People, this scares me.
“If the Kaesong project is stopped and we have to pull our workers completely, it will be a tremendous setback to South-North relations,” Unification Minister Ryoo Kihl-jae of South Korea said during a parliamentary hearing.
Setback to South-North relations? At this point THERE ARE NO "South-North relations.
Hours before the North made its announcement, South Korea said it had no intention of talking with North Korea.
No talk!
No commercial relations!
Blind Man's Bluff!
In a footnote at the end of the story, Japan joins the club of countries brandishing weapons all around the Sea of Japan.
On Tuesday, the Japanese Army set up a Patriot antimissile battery of interceptor missiles on the grounds of the Defense Ministry in central Tokyo as the nation girds for a possible missile test by North Korea.
And don't forget that besides Chinese, Japanese, and Korean assets, Russia's famous warm-weather port of Vladiviostok is only about 100 miles north of the North Korea border.
The Russian Navy and their huge commercial fleet are all over that water!
What could possibly go wrong?
