Senator Jeff Flake (R–Arizona)
says universal background checks on gun sales are a “bridge too far” because they would create “paperwork.”
Leaving aside the question of whether Senator Flake also opposes voter registration, passports, signing children up for school and other outrageous forms of governmental overreach, or whether answering questions for a background check is more of an imposition on one’s time than, say, answering questions for a loved one’s death certificate, one can’t help but wonder:
Do Republicans really still keep all their records on paper?
