This is no surprise to me. A couple of months ago, I was polled, rather obviously by the prospective candidate himself. Then last week, I was approached after a forum by a guy claiming to be a journalist from a major magazine, but not displaying a press pass.
And what they all wanted to know was whether I thought Anthony Weiner should run for mayor. Well, he seems to have made up his mind, and in true Weiner fashion, it's a definite maybe.
Has he done sufficient penance for the sophomoric antics that caused him to resign his House seat? Were those antics worse than the corruption issues that dog most of the current candidates (and seemingly every other politician in NYC these days)?
I'm still undecided which candidate I'm supporting, so having another choice is fine with me; how about you?
