More below the fold:
At long last, the heroes who have, day in and day out, ground away at theIsle of Thunder dailies have achieved their objective. Now, we have a new world boss, an easier entrance to Throne of Thunder, new titles and achievements, and my current project, the Lightning-Forged weapons.
I hear there are other crafting items available as well as new battle pets. With that, on to the raid reports!
Here's the
Team Kaels continues to operate on a reduced schedule, as work requirements and that pesky thing called a social life get in the way of us killing monsters on teh intarwebz. I know, crazy, right? Anyhow, we’re very confident on the first four encounters in the Throne of Thunder but we’ve had to stop at Megaera the last couple raid nights because of real life commitments and incredibly scary amounts of tank damage. We’re incredibly close – making it to the 6th snake and just to bloodlust point. Last night we encountered the weekly raid quest again and got to kill a Rocky Horror. He looked kinda like Morchok, which brought about some silly contradictory raid instructions.
The final stage of Thunder Island has been unlocked on Garrosh, so keep your eyes open for Nalak the Storm Lord. Hopefully we'll be able to kill him and make him give us purples on Sunday.

See how I'm not asking if the weekly raid quest made you all jump to the left? I think I've grown.
Here's the Team RubiPam report from Pamena:
Team RubiPam report:
The last Monday through Monday period was the most successful in the history of our raid group - it feels like we finally took the handbrake off. As reported last week, April 1st was April Fool's for bosses night with us as we finished off HOF with the Empress, then cruised over the first two fights in Terrace, Protectors and Tsulong. Thursday night, we went back to Terrace with a fresh lockout, and took down Protectors and Tsulong again without much difficulty - and then "rescued" or "cleansed" or whatever it was we do in there, Lei Shi I believe on our third or fourth pull. We got some good practice pulls in on the Sha, which stood us in good stead when we returned to him Monday night. It took a few wipes for us to learn the rhythm of getting the platform bosses down correctly, which involved getting behind the pillars in an expeditious fashion when the most damaging attacks came - but we finally did it, with everyone in the raid alive! Tier 14 was done! And if I do say so myself, Bemused and Pamena did some kick-ass healing on that fight! As always, we benefited so much from the advice and strategy suggestions of Team Kaels members, especially Taymatt and Nina, and of course Xoff our tank, and we thank you guys so much! It is very satisfying to have cleared Tier 14, especially since several guilds who have done Terrace and Jin'rokh just skipped the last two in HOF.
Many of us got the Tranquil Master title when we killed the Sha - it's not for clearing the tier, it's for killing a whole list of different Sha's around Pandaria. I think some people are still missing the Sha of Despair in Krasarang which is a minor pain because you have to do the lead up quest chain for that to get to Anduin Wynn who takes you onto the Temple. It only took Pamena an hour or two to do it Sunday afternoon, so it's not too bad.
We then went back to Jin'rokh in TOT, which we had mysteriously not been able to kill last time we saw him, after previously taking him down twice before - but no worries this time, we one-shot him, even with Pamena dead for the last third of the fight, so kudos to Rubi and Bemused for more kick ass healing! Now the fun really starts - tonight, we will take down Jin again and then start on Horridon - they have made around of nerfs to Horridon and a couple of other encounters in TOT, I believe to make them less frustrating for 10 mans as opposed to 25 mans, so just in time for us to hit it!

And here's the Team ZARD/Saturday Night Massacre report from Moodyloner:
Well, I'm happy to report that Zen and the Art of Ritual Disembowelment is now 4/16. We were facing Gara'jal the Spiritbinder, and with the tricky voiodoo doll and spirit realm mechanics were looking forward to a night of wiping on him, but took him down in only three tries.
Next we decided to do a few pulls on the Spirit Kings, and realized that every time we pulled we were bringing another one of the four Spirit Kings down. We had some issues with timing, especially on the last Spirit King was up and all kinds of things were happening and most of those were bad. Nevertheless, we emerged victorious.
Sunday night we face Elegon. Hoo boy.
Saturday Night Massacre: I took over organizing it and went for a standard Sha of Anger/Galleon run. We had to fill in a good number of PuGs to get a viable group, and my tanking gear may be on the fragile side to main-tank Galleon. Nothing raises a raid's morale like having the main tank and raid leader get one-shot by Galleon. Yeah. This is why I didn't form a raid team.
Maybe next time we can go after Nalak, the new world boss that's been unlocked this week.

That's all I have this week.
For the Horde!
