47 Senators and a guy with a bushmaster walk into a bar........ Your fill in the rest. As for me...
Democracy died today. It wasn't a fast death its been a lingering tedious cancerous erosion of the wellbeing of the citizens of this country in favor of the wellbeing of the "owners" of the country. It's been a death of jobs, education (on all levels), the health and welfare of our citizens, the "American Dream", the economy, the middle class, the poor, the elderly, the cities, the family farm and so many other aspects of life, liberty and happiness for the overwhelming number of americans. All for profits and power over the people. The "owners" want to create a modern feudal state that makes their profits and powers soar on the backs of the american people whose lives will be on par with the overwhelming number of third world people in countries all over the globe. All with the cooperation of the American people. Yes, we have been complicate in the process. We have consistently voted against our own interests.
It's not only the economy they have up ended, it's also everything that has made us a great nation. Our sense of responsibility to each other, the environment that nourishes us, our health, and the list goes on. All in the name of profits over people. They have used their messaging to effectively make the rest of us fear each other, resent each other and believe that what is good for the "owners" is good for everyone. So they and they're minions who do their bidding continue to act in favor of the few against what is good for the many. Ultimately creating a dysfunctional and impotent society, economy and and most importantly a dysfunctional and impotent government through both elected officials and the courts. But our government is charged with, by the constitution to establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity. They are charged with this and it is up to us to make sure they live up to this responsibility. It is up to us to make sure we put people into office that act in the best interest of everyone. We need to end the lobby system and
give the government back to the people who pay for it. And so.... ABOUT 150 MILLION PEOPLE (GIVE OR TAKE A FEW MILLION) WALK INTO A VOTING BOOTH.....YOU FILL IN THE REST.
