TransCanada Corp. Chief Executive said the Keystone XL pipeline would start operations months later than expected as the regulatory process on the controversial line drags on.
TransCanada had expected a start date in late 2014 or early 2015 but it is now expecting a mid- to late 2015 start, CEO Russ Girling said at a conference call with analysts after the company reported first-quarter results on Friday.
Delay is good. But, then, it could be just smoke or a poke in the ribs.
