Thanks to the Kos for helping get the word out. We raised a little over $4,000. Just enough to cover the repairs. We are going to finish our original mission and deliver the musical instruments from Roanoke, VA to Rockaway, NY on Memorial Day.
From Rockaway, we will head west making stops in Detroit, Chicago, Madison, Minneapolis, Denver, Salt Lake City demonstrating our design to Team Rubicon Regional Members.
June 1st we start the west coast tour of Veteran farms in Seattle,WA Portland, ORE Corvallis,ORE Grants Pass, ORE June 10th Arcata, CA Eureka, CA Willits, CA Mendocino, CA San Francisco, CA June, 19th -21st San Jose and Netroots Nation 13.

What: The Veterans Green Bus West Coast Tour
Veterans Green Bus Project demonstrates the process of collecting and filtering WVO, (Waste Vegetable Oil) to run diesel motors and emergency generators. They also tour the country documenting other examples of veterans using sustainable energy, job opportunities and career paths.
Where:The Bus and crew will be visiting Farms, Restaurants, and Sustainable Biodiesel , Solar, Wind Energy Plants in Washington, Oregon and California from June 1st - 21 the final stop in San Jose, California June 20th and 21st at Netroots Nation 13 where the bus crew will demonstrate their use of digital media to document the tour.

Why: We want to share what we have learned about alternative energy solutions with our fellow veterans so they can help their communities become more sustainable. Leading by watching the example doing by example and teaching by example is how things got done in the military. We want to document where those leaders are and how they are helping to sustain their communities.
