Just yesterday CNN Money came out with an article suggesting inflation had increased at a not-fast-enough rate due to the fact that gas prices decreased once again during the month of April.
Insert the hero.
It didn't take long for them to find an excuse to "fix" that problem. Today in the USA Today's Money section is an article about the uptick in fuel prices across the Midwest. Prices are rising to record levels in the heartland while the nation is focused on Beghazi, IRS "scandal", AP journalist phone tapping, the Keystone XL pipeline, the Koch brother's attempt to buy the Tribune Co., etc. More specifically the greasy scapegoat is the main culprit for the exorbitant jump if you ask Patrick DeHaan, senior petroleum analyst, of GasBuddy.com.
Hey, maybe they won't notice as we use a normal maintenance procedure to excuse our greed...
