The Republican Party of Texas, with help from the national GOP, will hire nearly two dozen full-time outreach workers over the next seven months, state GOP Chairman Steve Munisteri said Tuesday.
The extra employees will operate from five new field offices, courting Hispanics but also other nontraditional Republicans, such as blacks, Asian Americans and young people, Munisteri said.
Imagine if national Democrats were being forced to spend money in California or New York?
Demographics are changing, and with it the political landscape. With Republicans playing defense in Texas, their future looks grim indeed.
