1) What I want to know is, why we're talking about Greenwald, when we should be asking if we still have a 4th amendment.
2) What I want to know is, why we're talking about Greenwald, when we should be asking why we're spending billions on spying in an austerity economy that requires Americans to go hungry. (aka Food Stamps cuts, Meals on Wheels sequestered, proposed Social Security cuts)
3)What I want to know is, why I should give a shit about the personalities of journalists as long as they do their job, which is to spread information, as accurately as they can.
4)What I want to know is, why we're talking about Greenwald, when we should be asking why building the largest, most expensive haystack in the world would help us find a needle. What I want to know is why, if this program is so necessary to security, two unstable 20-year-olds with a pressure cooker totally pwned our multi-billion dollar security state.
5) What I want to know is, why we should keep having these little personality-driven hatefests in the blogosphere when they don't accomplish anything useful. See also Jane Hamsher and FDL, which fight between the Orange and the Lake accomplished fuck-all.
6)What I want to know is, why we're talking about Greenwald, when we should be asking why the government has decided to designate environmental activists as "domestic extremists" and "eco-terrorists" while surveilling them with NSA's PRISM program. What I want to know is why the government used these surveillance programs to shut down Occupy.
7)What I want to know is, why we're talking about Greenwald, when we should be asking about the feasibility of maintaining a democracy while the operative interpretation of the law is done in secret, and then adjudicated in secret, to justify secret programs that no one without a high security clearance could ever criticize or change. What I want to know is how the United States of America can survive as a democracy when no one without a high security clearance can ever criticize or change the operative interpretations of the law.
8)What I want to know is, why we're talking about Greenwald, when we should be asking about the danger of NSA spying on politicians, which whistleblower Russ Tice claims happened to Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, Senators John McCain and Diane Feinstein, then-Secretary of State Colin Powell, Gen. David Petraeus, and a current Supreme Court Justice. What I want to know is, what is the effect that such spying might have on the formation of public policy, especially policies affecting the NSA.

9)What I want to know is, why we're talking about Greenwald, when we should be asking why the Administration is persecuting, and to some extent conflating leakers, whistleblowers, journalists, and freedom of information activists like Aaron Swartz, while Wall St bankers who defrauded and continue to defraud our economy walk free.
10)What I want to know is, why we're talking about Greenwald, when we should be asking why our leaders won't stand up for the American people. What I want to know is, when is Washington DC going to care about the American people's rights, their dignity, their well-being? What I want to know is, when is Washington going to care about the sacred trust we have as Americans not to let the government of the people, by the people, and for the people perish from the earth?
What I want to know is, what kind of country do we intend to be?
6:34 PM PT: Sorry guys, but JustBob just pointed out to me that the link to the story about NSA spying on politicians was incorrect. Here is the actual link:
