Originally this was a diary promoting Anthony Weiner's (D) upcoming campaign dinner but now I have some very good news:
http://livewire.talkingpointsmemo.com/...
Weiner leads City Council Speaker Christine Quinn by a margin of five points, 25 to 20 percent, according to a new NBC/Marist survey released Tuesday. Weiner trailed Quinn by 5 points in May.
The poll surveyed 1,118 registered voters from June 17 to June 21, with a margin of error of plus or minus 3 percentage points. - TPM, 6/25/13
For those of you who are interested in Anthony Weiner's (D) campaign to become the next Mayor of New York City, Weiner's campaign is holding a dinner even you can attend:
Campaigns are serious business, but it doesn't mean you can't have fun while you're fighting for your city.
On July 8th, we are going to prove it.
We are having a party at my brother's restaurant. He's making some great appetizers, and it's a cash bar from 5:00-7:00pm.
The reception is a fundraiser, but give what you can. Contributions from NYC residents get matched 6-to-1 by the city's campaign finance board. So if you give $30, it could mean over $200 for our campaign!
Reception with Anthony

5:00-7:00pm
Almond Restaurant
12 East 22nd Street
