As you all may or may not know, I've been making the 2014 Pennsylvania Governors race a top priority with my diaries.  Tom Corbett (R. PA) is the most vulnerable Governor in the country and he can be taken down, especially with Allyson Schwartz (D) running for the nominee.  But the other Governors race I'm excited about is the 2014 South Carolina Governors Race.  Nikki Haley (R. SC) is also pretty vulnerable and Democrats lucked out big time with State Senator Vincent Sheheen (D. SC) making his glorious return to take out Haley.  But of course a winning campaign needs a strong grassroots, GOTV movement.  So if any of you live in South Carolina and want to help Sheheen beat Haley, now's your chance to sign up for Sheheen's campaign:
Hello. My name is Andrew Whalen, and I'm excited to be the new campaign manager for Sheheen for South Carolina.
I wanted to work for Vincent because he has proven time and again that he can deliver results by bringing people together and focusing on common sense solutions. That's how he has increased opportunities for early-childhood education, created a fund to help those who have suffered financial loss as a result of the hacking scandal, and helped put people back to work by rebuilding our roads and bridges.

Will you join us and invite your family and friends to sign up to join the campaign today?

We all know there's a lot at stake for South Carolina.

Under Nikki Haley, South Carolina has one of the nation's highest unemployment rates, crumbling roads, too many struggling schools and a level of managerial incompetence that allowed your private tax information to be hacked and then hid it from you for two weeks.

It's by bringing people together once again that we'll win this race and finally fix the government in South Carolina -- because we all deserve more than Nikki Haley's secretive, incompetent, and broken government.

So join us, and make your voice heard. Give some of your time by volunteering, make a donation, and encourage your friends and family to sign up for our email list today.

I look forward to meeting you all and working with you in the months ahead.

Andrew Whalen

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
