This is just a quick diary to let you know that the Houston Area Kossacks group will be holding our next meet-up on Saturday, July 20, at 2:00 PM. This time, we will be meeting at Pasha Restaurant, a lovely Turkish-Mediterranean restaurant in Rice Village.

Pasha is going to be giving us our own private room for the meet-up, which is going to be awesome. They will be serving us a three-course meal (appetizers, main courses, and dessert) for the price of $20 per person. This is the total price--it includes the bill, taxes, and gratuity. It covers the food, as well as a soft drink. It's looking like we're going to be eating like sultans, so you're not going to want to miss out!

This will be our ninth meet-up. We're looking forward to seeing both some familiar faces and hopefully some new ones, too! Here's all you need to know about the meet-up:

Date: Saturday, July 20
Time: 2:00 PM
Place: Pasha Restaurant, 2325 University Boulevard
Cuisine: Turkish-Mediterranean
Price: $20/person
As for parking, the restaurant does offer limited parking, but depending on how busy they are, you may have to find a spot on the street. Pasha has assured me that we should not have much trouble finding parking.

If you live in the Houston area--or if you're here temporarily and want to stop by--please feel free to come. I just ask that you RSVP as soon as possible (and by no later than Thursday, July 18...I'm calling Pasha first thing on Friday). Guests are more than welcome, but please let me know in your RSVP how many people are coming so I can give the restaurant an accurate count. Because the restaurant is going to be preparing food based on the number in our group, it is important that I give them an accurate count. So please make sure you and your entire party are on the RSVP list, and please show up if you RSVP! You can RSVP either by commenting in this diary or by sending me a Kosmail.

Don't miss out on this meet-up!

Also, if you're from the Houston area and haven't joined the Houston Area Kossacks group, feel free to send me a Kosmail to request to join. We do all of our communication via e-mail, however, so please also include an e-mail address so we can keep you in the loop!

Looking forward to seeing everybody at Pasha!

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
