Welcome to Sunday All Day Brunch. This is an open topic thread so help yourself to the goodies and sit a spell and let us know what is new with you. When I moved into this apartment I brought furniture and things not only from the last apartment I lived in but also my parent’s home. One of the things I like about this apartment is for the first time I am living in an apartment that is not white walls. The walls are light beige with white ceilings and accents and charcoal gray carpets.

Each room has a different color scheme to it. For some reason I have always liked pink in my bedrooms. This time it was a pink and green scheme as I used one of the afghans that my Mom had that was green and white. When I got my quilt it was in my favorite colors reds and purples. I just put it on top of my pink comforter. In my last apartment I had light pink storage cabinets in the bedroom. This time around they ended up in the computer room with my red and gold SF 49ers afghan and greens and fall colors from Mom and Dad’s place. There is also a lot of Marvin the Martian green. The bathroom is midnight blue and gold. With the living room I indulged my passion for red. The dining room table changes with the season.

I love indulging in color. As an artist I will spend hours just getting the colors right. Color can change the mood of a room or a picture. It is ironic that one of my favorite things in the world is black and white, my cat Pixie. I get new collars for Pixie about every six months because for some reason she is very hard on them. I love getting bright colors to contrast against that beautiful black fur. Currently her collar is bright silver with loads on bling on it. Pixie always has been attracted to bling. My wardrobe has lots of bright colors in it and things are arranged by color.

I love experimenting with different colors in dress, décor, and art. What about you? What colors do you like?

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
