I haven't seen this diaried and I didn't see Meet the Press. If this story is true, then as expected Harry Reid is backing off from changing the filibuster rules, specifically to make it apply only for regulatory, but not judicial, nominees:
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid on Sunday pushed forward with his effort to change Senate rules as part of a Democratic effort to limit Republican opposition to Obama administration nominees for regulatory office.

“We’re not touching judges,” Reid said.
Of course, this spineless Senator would find a way to limit reform as much as possible. After all, why fill the many seats on federal courts or, god forbid, pass some legislation. But, I'm sure some will say, "Well, it's better than nothing." Well, I'm sick of always getting only less than what's satisfying. So, another less than half-ass measure brought to you by the Dems. I am completely fed up with this lot of invertebrates.
