Most of us were sick to our stomachs at the verdict handed down in the case against Trayvon's executioner, George Zimmerman. Since then we have had protest marches, speeches, diaries and a
powerful address by our president .
All well and good.
However, one group of people is currently sacrificing for the greater good. They are giving of themselves and doing everything they can to make sure that Florida repeals the odious SYG laws imposed on them by the Koch Brothers through ALEC.

What began as a modest protest has morphed into a weeklong occupation of the Florida Capitol. The organizers, most of whom are college students and young professionals, say they are prepared to stay for weeks or even months — as long as it takes for Scott to call a special session on racial profiling and the state's controversial "stand your ground" law.
This is the eighth day of their stand and
they need your help.
They have posted a list of things they could use and, as you can see, they are not asking for much. For those of us who think that an injustice has been done, it is the least we can do - if we can afford it - to show that we stand for Trayvon, the Martin family and these brave students.
Thanks for your help.
