Good pose.
List legislation written, sponsored and enacted into law.
...
Still thinking? Yeah, that's because its a pretty short list. But I can tell you what he proposes to do:
End teacher pensions because according to his plan teachers don't like pensions.
He wants to use NYC's grant money from the Federal Government to provide private security guards for private schools.
He wants cellular service on every subway platform, so that way you can always overhear everyone else's conversations no matter where you are.
He wants to get rid of the access-a-ride program which transports around the elderly and sick for free and instead replace it with more cabs.
He wants the Mayor to have total control over the rent board, which would be like just handing it directly to the landlords.
He wants to up the fees City workers have to pay for their healthcare.
You know all the air rights that the City has? You know, to keep someone from building a building in the direct path of your sunlight? Yeah...he wants to sell those to landlords. Hooray.
Tax cuts! (Dead ass...I'm not joking.)
You can read about all this crap on his website. I wont link it.
Needless to say, there are better options than this. People whose records you can examine and whose positions are less "Washington 3rd way think-tanky." I know Weiner has been in Washington a long time and isn't a potholes and garbage collection type of guy. But we don't need Rahm Emmanuel's brand of civic leadership here.
No thanks.
