"Empty promises, empty promises, empty promises"
We know of course that the House of Representatives is controlled by the Republican Party and that the Senate is lead by the Democratic Party. Therein lies the dilemma for Darrell Issa and other Republicans: Do we compromise and govern or do we please the Tea Party base? I'm sure all of you Kossacks know the answer to this.
I've debated Darrell Issa's real role on the House Oversight & Government Reform Committee for some time and I've come to a conclusion that it really doesn't matter what he does on the committee at this point given President Obama is likely to veto just about every piece of legislation that Issa and others in his committee will propose. Issa is Obama's #1 nemesis given he continues to stand in his way no matter how positive and offers nothing constructive to give U.S. citizens dealing with issues in job seeking and healthcare.
Which is why Issa's following Tweets are nothing but pure comedy. Or maybe not comedy but rather tools for Issa to continue to be a lean, mean, fundraising machine: To his own campaign war chest.
So let me get this straight: While the U.S. federal government doesn't create jobs (absent of federal government jobs), Issa is expecting Obama to create jobs? And out of his speeches?
I think I understand now. Issa is expecting President Obama to actually work with Congress to "create jobs" or at least work to provide better conditions and opportunities for U.S. businesses to create opportunities for job seekers?
Oh wait... Just one problem... The House GOP continues to block every single legitimate jobs-oriented legislation meant as stimulus or kick starting the economy.
Now here's where we see Mr. Issa whine, whine and yes, whine even more:
So as you can see, we have not heard a single productive proposal that Darrell Issa himself has offered to better the economy. Instead, he and others seem to think President Obama must be some kind of god that they can criticize at all times for being partisan. However, by doing so, Issa and others are being partisan themselves so they're really not doing their constituents or other Congressmen/Congresswomen's constituents a favor in representing them.
And here's a slogan coming from Issa on his role as House Oversight & Government Reform Committee Chairman:
If you can't stand to hear more of Darrell Issa's antics, keep the San Diego County Democratic Party busy since they're the most local and active Democratic Party nearby Darrell Issa's area of residence (not to mention his local office).
Make sure you mark down this information and pass it on to others for firing up the base in California's 49th Congressional District if you want to target Issa for re-election and get voter registration drives going. If you can find someone in the CA-49 who can run against Issa in 2014, the more the merrier:
