I have never in my life heard of such a thing as this kind of sequester.
Don't piss on my head and tell me it's raining. I saw a diary here about some sequester details but I was offline some last week and if I am going over old stuff...I apologize.
Please? How many have ever heard of a sequester like this? Ever !!!!!

First let me explain something. I have had manicures and pedicures and never ever
went into any nail salon that did not have a television going. The same thing can be said about restaurants. The Outback, Applebees, and just about any other restaurant I can think of has a TV going. The Seminole Sheriff's dept. has released where the jurors went and what they did, including the mall. Bowling anyone?
I am really pissed or is that just rain?
June 21 and spent 22 nights at the Marriott on International Parkway in Lake Mary, Fla.

During the sequestration, jurors had individual rooms and convened regularly in a suite for meals and to socialize. Jurors watched television and movies, exercised at the hotel fitness center, and spent weekends being visited by family and friends. Jurors could also request visits from members of the religious community.

The group went out for lunch twice, both times to Senior Tequila’s in Winter Springs.
Jurors also enjoyed several evening and weekend excursions to include bowling, shopping at the Volusia Mall, a day and dinner in St. Augustine (to include a visit to the Ripley’s Believe It or Not Museum), manicures and pedicures, and watching fireworks on the fourth of July
Jurors also went to the movies to see “World War Z” and “The Lone Ranger.” All movies viewed were preapproved by the court
.
Now the article says that all cell phones and phone calls were monitored and television programs but I am sure deputies did not monitor conversations in a mall getting that foot massage. We know how well the deputies did their jobs in the investigation of this case and no one could doubt they were just wonderful in monitoring sequestering, I mean it was not like there was anyone being shot and needed to be monitored. I mean the Sheriff's dept did not think George Zimmerman needed monitoring after shooting Trayvon Martin.
Oh wait the article said they signed a paper saying they would be good sequestered jurors.
I tell you the truth. I have never stayed at a Mariott and never ever had so much entertainment provided by the citizens of a state to the tune of
$1,000 daily, and meals were approximately $375 per day. The excursion expenses were approximately $350. In total, sequestrations costs were approximately $33,000.
Just read it and then go vomit because this was bad before details were released and I am so mad I cannot see straight. A dog and pony show that people like the Martins are going to pay for while the figures keep adding up, and we get the bill. So far according to the article...we are approaching 350,000 for this so called sequester. What a bunch of crap !!!!
I couldn't help but wonder ..How many excursions and pedicures has Trayvon's mother had in her grieving period? I am betting on ...NONE. This is insult to injury.
Is there not a guideline for sequestering a jury? Do all jury participants who are supposed to be sequestered get this kind of pampering? Damn, I better never get out of jury again....it may be the only upscale vacation I get in my lifetime.
