Mountains, Molehills, Rush, and Hannity
When I saw this headline over on RedState today, I knew I'd be in for a lot of fun. I just had to share.
Liberals in the press are soiling themselves in excitement that Cumulus might drop Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity, the nation’s most popular and second most popular radio programs.
Apparently, the problem is that "Cumulus made some business mistakes and some large acquisitions".
See, we stoopid Libs think the problem is Limbaugh's mouth. Oh, no. It seems the real problem is that Cumulus thought they could schedule cheaper local talent against Limpity and save themselves some money. But Cons listeners are too smart for that. See Cons listeners know enough to switch away from the cheap talk and find stations where they can listen to Big Stupid, so revenues went down for Cumulus. Everyone knows, radio will be rolling in the green again when there is more airtime for Limbaugh and Hannity.
Those ad minutes of dead air are just in your imagination, Righties. Just keep pressuring Premier and Comcast and Time/Warner to keep these blowhards on the air. It's just what they all deserve.
