A judge ruled that the Stop and Frisk policy by the NYPD is in violation of the constitutional rights of minorities.
Bloomberg vehemently supports Stop and Frisk, claiming it reduces crime He plans on fighting the decision.
I say, Mr. Bloomberg, go ahead and continue your Stop and Frisk policy. However, you need to start going after the REAL criminals.
We know who they are. Wall Street Banksters. Corporate CEOs. Mr. Bloomberg can worry all he wants about the poor kids of color who may commit a petty crime. The criminals most Americans are concerned about are the ones who’ve bankrupted our country through their endless greed, and who continue to go unpunished. The ones who’ve stolen pensions, who’ve robbed elderly of their life savings, who’ve caused massive unemployment, a mortgage melt down, and caused needless suffering to millions of regular Americans.
What NYPD officers need to start doing is a Stop and Frisk on every white guy in a suit. Imagine, when a Town Car pulls up to some swanky restaurant on the Upper East Side, or a Wall Street bank building, there are a couple of men in uniform waiting to pat him down, take his briefcase, do a search, maybe take him downtown for a cavity search. See if he’s got any “contraband” on him. They could go into Wall Street offices, unannounced, and search the offices for anything looking “suspicious.” Go into the Board of Directors meeting for Goldman Sachs and do a Stop and Frisk of everyone in attendance. Go through their database on their computers, see if they plan on stealing any more of America’s wealth. Put a quota on how many men in suits they can prosecute.
I bet there’s more than a handful of NYPD men and women who would love to oblige.
