Who would have thought this would happen to a perfectly coiffed, pearl wearing Fairfield, CT politician?
State Rep. Brenda Kupchick (Gold Coast Republican) was arrested after assaulting her sister at a family picnic last weekend.
BRIDGEPORT -- A law and order state representative from Fairfield was ordered to turn over her gun Monday following her arrest on charges of assaulting her younger sister.
She just took her bullying ways to the next level, and she got busted.
Here's one clue ~ last January she introduced "The Employers’ Bill of Rights” via Bully in the Workplace
Earlier this week Connecticut State Representative Brenda Kupchick introduced Bill 5236, AN ACT CREATING AN EMPLOYERS’ BILL OF RIGHTS. It consists of 3 very cryptic – yet easily decoded – sentences.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require the Labor Department to develop and promulgate an Employers’ Bill of Rights.
Statement of Purpose: To create an Employers’ Bill of Rights that would serve to protect employers from frivolous complaints and claims brought by employees.
Under the squiggly thingie she shows her true Republican colors ~
She failed the Vote Smart Political Courage Test.
Brenda Kupchick refused to tell citizens where she stands on any of the issues addressed in the 2012 Political Courage Test, despite repeated requests from Vote Smart, national media, and prominent political leaders.
According to her official bio, she's the founder of "One Voice", an educational advocacy group. I can't seem to locate any info verifying this or any history of the group. There is a group by the same name who coordinates conferences and groups for New York, which doesn't seem to be the same (I've contacted them to see if they know of her).

According to her Vote Smart page, she's also pro-business, pro-charter school, anti-senior citizen (no votes either way) - you get the picture.
We sure can pick em' here in CT.
