The country loves to play their hollow 'patriotism' when it comes to cheering on wars and using veterans, the very few ordered into that serve them, of as their pawns like them magnetic ribbons, but pay for all that Not So Much! As the media and then those served pile on with condemnation of their responsibility, the Veterans' Administration!
Following a certain political ideology, loves rubber stamping war costs, off the books and on the credit card, seeking to privatize the agency, for profit, for decades, and especially the past decade plus, while Never comparing the VA, with the decades and wars of, underfunded in all that, to same privatized care system, especially private hospitals rolling in cash. As they fully support the gross compensation of the owners, investors and executives of same private sector health care facilities with no qualms except from those getting huge bills or higher insurance costs for all!
The VA supervisors, and under paid dedicated VA personal, not too mention the scores of no pay volunteers that without these facilities couldn't maintain the care needed, aren't getting bonuses because they're ignoring or covering up the same that happens in the private sector, but getting because of running facilities while giving great care, and with wars being fought adding to the needs and with underfunded budgets, and in greater numbers.
Did these brothers die because of or did contamination's within the underfunded facilities, as same sought out the contamination, especially legionaries disease which has been found to be allusive in the private facilities, contribute to their already weakened bodies, reasons they were being cared for, maybe trials will find out, doubt it though. But you're staying away from the real story and reports of, look in your mirrors, especially the high priced reporters, how much in tax cuts are you banking as two more wars were fought, the majority had theirs burned out their exhaust pipes, even if one doesn't drive but eats and more, before the tax cut bills were signed!

Officials at troubled VA hospitals received big bonuses
In January, a CBS News investigation found that a veterans' hospital in Pittsburgh knew for more than a year that it had an outbreak of Legionnaires' disease, but kept it secret until five patients died and 21 others became ill.
Last fall, Dave and Bob Nicklas spoke to CBS News after losing their 87-year-old father to Legionnaires' disease. William Nicklas, a Navy veteran, caught the deadly pneumonia at the Pittsburgh VA.
Bob wanted accountability.
"It was a preventable situation," he said. "And the VA chose not to do anything about it. And if something was done, my dad would be alive today."
After the CBS News investigation, the VA's inspector general found the Pittsburgh VA failed to prevent the outbreak. read more>>>
RM: "We got a huge round of tax cuts in this country a few weeks before 9/11. Once 9/11 happened and we invaded Afghanistan, we kept the tax cuts anyway. How did we think we were going to pay for that war? Did we think it was free? Then, when we started a second simultaneous war in another country, we gave ourselves a second huge round of tax cuts. After that second war started. The wars, I guess, we thought would be free, don`t worry about it, civilians. Go about your business." 23 May 2013
"Why in 2009 were we still using paper?" VA Assistant Secretary Tommy Sowers "When we came in, there was no plan to change that; we've been operating on a six month wait for over a decade." 27 March 2013
WHY? GOOD QUESTION THOSE SERVED SHOULD ANSWER!
These present wars have yet to be paid for, like the long ignored issues of our other wars that are finally being addressed in this Veterans' Administration! Rubber stamping and rapid deficits rising started before 9/11 and continued with same for the wars. But especially in the early some six years of extremely little being added to the Veterans Administration budgets by those Congresses, and since obstructed by same war rubber stampers, as to the long term results of War, DeJa-Vu all over again.
Deficits, especially huge, means the costs of wars and long term results from are passed on to later generations, present is all borrowed, DeJa-Vu all over again!!
