This is a one time diary. Yeah Imasock - in an interesting location, mere miles from a special ops base on the Florida panhandle.
Last night, the dog was nervous. He started whining around 9:30. I could hear it myself. Concussive noise. The kind that locals hear when there's bomb run training taking place in the expansive territory of the tightly guarded airfield. Doolittle trained in this area.
The noise isn't like fireworks in the distance. The concussive sound registers much deeper, at the "grab you by the balls" level, communicating greater intensity and urgency. It continues this evening, with increasing frequency.
We rarely hear this noise anymore, but it's been ongoing now for two nights.
My doxy isn't going to sleep well this evening. Neither am I.
