Kalliope
Means "beautiful voice" from Greek καλλος (kallos) "beauty" and οψ (ops) "voice". In Greek mythology she was a goddess of epic poetry and eloquence, one of the nine Muses.

I'm writing a book.
I've already written a book,
seems to me,
in the form of
over 300 diaries,
and over 7,000 comments,
here at the mighty
Daily Kos.
But I need to organize my thoughts better,
my thoughts on peak oil,
and the coming famine.
I intend to write my book here.
The title is:
Famine in America by 2050
(The Post-Peak Oil
American Apocalypse)
My chapters might be:
1. Overview
2. Surviviors' stories
3. The cause
4. The cure that's too late
5. The mad scramble during transition
6. The gradual acceptance of the inevitable
7. Summary
8. Revisit of the survivors,
after America is stable,
as the epilogue.
This could be the epilogue:
Henry looked out,
across his family's fields,
and their herd of goats,
fat and feisty,
and he knew:
There is no ideal,
but his family was living
a certain kind
of reasonably comfortable,
almost opulent,
but,
most of all,
a stable lifestyle,
a way of life that could be passed down
to the next generation,
with near certain confidence
that for hundreds of years,
likely,
for a thousand years,
his descendants could keep on doing things
in a similar way,
generation after generation,
century after century,
and they would not have some disaster,
some rude awakening,
to destroy their lives,
to destroy all hope.
He knew.
