On his Webcast today, Gordon Klingenschmitt, the former Navy chaplain who was famously drummed out of the Navy for wearing his uniform at a protest, suggested a novel solution for Christian photographers who are required to photograph LGBT weddings by anti-discrimination laws. Klingenschmitt suggested that these photographers write Romans 1:32 on the back of any pictures from gay weddings. No, this isn't snark--People for the American Way got a clip.
Watch the whole program here. Klingenschmitt was not at all pleased to find out that the New Mexico Supreme Court found a Christian photographer had discriminated against a gay couple by refusing to photograph their wedding.
Can anyone tell me how this is any different from a photographer who doesn't like interracial marriages to write a "children of Ham" reference on pictures of interracial weddings? I didn't think so.
