Are …
are you stupid?
Sen. Saxby Chambliss (R-GA) said during an appearance on "Fox & Friends" that President Obama may have drawn a so-called red line last year on the Assad regime's use of chemical weapons because he didn't have the assistance of a teleprompter.
“Well, what it says to me is that the president gets lost when he doesn’t have a teleprompter in front of him, which he obviously didn’t last year,” Chambliss said.
I'm genuinely trying to remember anyone who was alarmed by "red line" talk at the time, and I can't. Yes, the United States is (now) against the use of chemical weapons. This was not (this decade) controversial. To reach back into the dusty corners of the insult bin and pull out
Obama is controlled by his teleprompter takes a true commitment to being a shallow ass, and I'm surprised Saxby Chambliss even mustered the effort.
The problem here clearly is Fox & Friends, the morning Fox show designed by stupid people for stupid people. There is apparently some mystical force in the Fox & Friends machinery that radiates these waves of stupid in all directions. It's not just Steve Doocy and Not Steve Doocy and The Generic One, it's everyone who goes on the program. You could collect the top scientists in the nation, put them in front of a single camera connected to the Fox & Friends studio, and within five minutes they'd all be babbling idiots who have forgotten how to tie their shoes. This show could be harnessed. Put the cameras on the streets of other nations, and this show could be used as a weapon of war.
