Hey all.
I fall asleep to the TV every night (last night it appears to have been CBS), and I woke up at 5 am to constant news about flooding in Boulder County.
So, yeah, I'm pretty freaked out right now. I no longer live in Boulder County, but I did for 14 years. I have many friends who live in Boulder proper. Most, if not all, of Boulder is currently under water. CU is flooding. 287 and Dillon Road just got washed away. 2 people have died thus far. There are 2 more days of heavy rain expected, and the flooding is now spreading to Louisville, Lafayette, Erie, and Broomfield.
Little Shiz is up there with her dad right now. Ugh. I already called her and, thankfully, they are OK for now.
I know several Colorado Kossacks who live in these areas. You guys OK?
If you want to vent and/or check-in, please do so. In the meantime, I am going to try to cure my anxiety by listening to new age music, burning incense, and eating chocolate. Not necessarily in that order.
