iI live in the PDX area, I SINCERELY doubt that the democratic party will not have control over the Oregon state and senate in 2020. Barring an unmitigated disaster and a scandal so big it would turn national we've got this stuff bolted down from what I can tell the GOP is not much of a threat locally.  Although we are a HIGHLY Polarized state and it's potentially difficult to know but I'm in PDX itself  and I have STRONG doubts about their ability to win PDX over. So it's out of state races especially in currently GOP gerrymandered states i'm interested in, Florida, OHIO, etc.

How can I help efforts for states I don't live in? any Relevant Act blue pages? PHone banking?

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.

In Michigan, Ohio, or Pennsylvania this year where we're running top tier challengers.

In Michigan former US Rep Mark Schauer is the refactoring nominee running against incumbent Rick Snyder.
In Ohio Cuyahoga County (Cleveland) Executive Ed FitzGerald is running against incumbent John Kasich.
In Pennsylvania there's a competitive primary but current US Rep Allyson Schwartz is the favorite against the unpopular incumbent Tom Corbett.

A win in these three races would give us the bonus of incumbency heading into 2018 and if we win those offices that year, we can veto their gerrymandering. Just google them and I'm sure you can find where to donate or volunteer/phone bank.

Later in the decade it's key that we win those aforementioned gov races as well as Wisconsin in 2018 and Virginia in 2017 to block Republican gerrymanders.
