The House GOP Is About to Crack Up: Three Theories Why
by Johathan Cohn, NewRepublic.com -- Sep 12, 2013

Three theories come quickly to mind:
[1.] They are delusional. If you sincerely believe Obamacare will bankrupt the country, violate personal liberty, raise costs or ruin insurance for most Americans, and generally destroy American health care, then it’s easy to believe that it’s only a matter of time before the rest of the country demands repeal—forcing both Senate Democrats and the president to go along. It’s particularly easy to believe this if you live in the right-wing media bubble, where all of the reports about Obamacare focus on the law’s shortcomings and failures—insurance premiums going up, people losing coverage, part-time workers losing hours, and so on.
These stories offer a distorted picture of reality. While some are true, most are exaggerated and some are flat-out false. For the vast majority of people, Obamacare will change very little; and among those most directly affected, the presently uninsured and those who buy coverage on their own, there are going to be many more winners than losers. But you’d never know that if your primary sources of information are Fox News and the Wall Street Journal editorial page.

Don't Republicans WANT better, more affordable comprehensive Health Care, for their friends and families?
Are they "Delusional" or what?
Greg Sargent pivots off of Johathan Cohn's top theory on GOP grandstanding against the SCOTUS-approved Affordable Care Act (aka Obamacare):
The Morning Plum: Delusions and lies about Obamacare come back to haunt GOP leaders

There are no signs GOP leaders know what to do about this. As I noted here yesterday, those leaders have fed the base lies and distortions about Obamacare for literally years now. Yet they are suddenly, frantically trying to inject reality into the debate by pointing out that the defund-Obama crusade is deeply crazy, self destructive, and doomed to fail. But the time for injecting reality into the debate has long since passed.
* OBAMACARE IS `NON-NEGOTIABLE’ FOR DEMS: Indeed, Politico reports that in closed door meetings between the White House and Democrats, one message is regularly sounded with real clarity: There will be no negotiating over anything that would undermine the Affordable Care Act.

So what explains the GOP's willingness to sink the solvency and the "good faith and credit" of the U.S. of A. --
all to take Health Care Benefits AWAY FROM Americans?
Are they "Delusional" or what? ... Any other theories out there to explain their on-going Lunacy?
(PS. The label "Sore Losers" comes to mind ...)
