The Tea Party has been endorsing candidates in races where they find the GOP incumbent just not drinking deeply enough out of their punchbowl of hatred.

One of those individuals is Attorney Bryan Smith, a candidate in Idaho's 2nd Congressional District. Mr. Smith flies into the race...and campaign events, revealing an instant shortcoming regarding ethics and a heavy does of extremist rhetoric and very little substance.

A Republican U.S. House candidate in Idaho has been flying to campaign and political events on a private airplane owned by one of his biggest supporters, even though federal law generally forbids prospective office holders from flying on non-commercial aircraft.

Now, this just isn't one of his golf buddies planes. This one happens to be owned by   Phenix of Idaho, a construction company that receives millions of dollars from its contracts at sites such as Idaho National Labs. Doyle Beck (who founded Phenix) and his family have given Mr. Smith at least 13,000 in cash to Mr. Smith's campaign.

Mr. Smith, endorsed by Freedom Works and Club for Growth, has a website that consists of no in-depth analysis of issues, no solutions, just short "empty phrases" paragraphs that certainly do not indicate a deep thinker.

Another American hating Freedom Works patsy who thinks the rules do not apply to them. This Mr. Smith definitely does not belong in Washington.

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
