Good grief, some people just cannot be reasoned with, and presenting facts simply causes them to jump to another line of attack. I believe this phenomenon, known as the Gish Gallop, is the hallmark of the dishonest and intellectually corrupt debater.

In fact, he gets visibly upset if you try to align him with ANY ideology or party, and his default position is a sort of ostentatious cynicism of all strongly-held positions and ideologies, as though he's "above all that shit". Every party and ideology is exactly the same to him, and when substantive differences are pointed out, he immediately switches subjects, because his knowledge is so incredibly superficial if there's any at all.
I had posted the Politifact article debunking many of the lies being spread about the Affordable Care Act, and he just had to chime in with some objection that was easily shown to be bogus. But instead of admitting his error, he dug in his heels, as always.
