Halloween is just around the corner and soon little kids across the country will be dressing up as their favorite movie characters. My little one chose to be Frankenstein's monster which should be easier than last year's werewolf. Attempts to glue hair on an excited 8 year-old's face did not go well. Currently she is reading Frankenstein for a book report due at the end of October. Seems like serendipity.
Friday nights are often "pizza night - movie night" at our home. It's always nice to curl up with my girls on the couch and watch a movie. After TLO finishes her book report we will watch one of the many versions of Frankenstein. Searching through Netflix for a version suitable for a 9 year-old I had to skip this one ...just too scary.
Dr. Frankenstein's Shutdown
David Koch as Dr. Frankenstein
Ted Cruz as Frankenstein's Monster
Louie Igohmert as himself

So I will continue to search for a kid appropriate Frankenstein movie. And while searching might add these recent sequels to my queue...
Dr. StrangeGov (or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Tea Party)
with special guest star Speaker Boehner
The Eagle has Crash Landed ...or Something
The leaf is on the Fig tree ...and the corndog is on the stick...the end times are upon us...

I was really hoping to add "Smokey and the Bandit IV: The Insurrection" in 3D, but sadly production was canceled.
