Can someone tell the Talking Heads/Tea Party that Obamacare is for folks without insurance?
Good grief . . . it is getting scary ignorant out here in the paranoid-alternate-reality zone!
So I was watching Morning Joe-ke this morning (I know, why?) . . . and there was this oh so earnest "conservative" member of the House of Representatives explaining how very reasonable their demands have been . . .
And one of the very reasonable things he kept saying was:
If Obamacare is good enough for the rest of the nation, why isn't President Obama and the Congress on it?
And nobody answered his question and everyone pretended like this was a reasonable and great point. They advised him to get a law passed to that effect instead of being a hostage taker and various other bits of pundit pablum.
Joe Scarborough even shared a (made-up) anecdote about a bank president he knew that was trying to change something about his wife's insurance using the Obamacare website and couldn't log on . . . because you know bank president's don't have health insurance, right?
The President of the United States and members of Congress are INSURED, which is why they don't need Obamacare. How simple can it get folks?
We are never going to be able to move forward if we are not operating in the real world.
I'm just saying.
