Good candidates don't do
this:
Angel's spokesman said she wasn't giving any more media interviews between now and next month's election.
That's Jan Angel, the Republican running in the Washington Senate special election against Democrat Nathan Schlicher.
Schlicker is a smart kid—graduated from college at 18, has a law degree and is an emergency room doctor. Angel? The Washington ALEC co-chair has "gaps in her knowledge", which is a super nice way to say that she's your typical idiot Republican.
Now, Republicans are hiding her from the media, afraid of putting more of those knowledge gaps on full display this close to Election Day. Or maybe they need her spending 100 percent of time begging corporate polluters for more money? (Enviro issues are playing large in the campaign.)
Let's help our Washington friends keep this seat blue, just as we're helping our Virginia friends claw back seats in their House of Delegates. This is how we roll back conservatism from around the country: from the ground up.
