DARPA- The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency
The DARPA website is a very interesting place to stay on top of, aware and alerted of NEW (scary) things in the works for our 'Protection' 'Control' and who knows what other Whys.
What caught my eye-interest today is this:
Defense Department seeks to implant devices capable of stimulating depressed soldiers’ brains in real-time
The Pentagon’s cutting-edge research agency hopes to use electrical brain implants to treat a variety of mental conditions.
---
“Deep Brain Stimulation” devices already exists as a therapeutic tool for certain patients who are unresponsive to other therapies. Approximately 100,000 people worldwide currently live with DBS implants, which at this moment are only devices that deliver “electrical stimulation to reduce motor impairment,” but which DARPA believes can also be used to treat depression, obsessive compulsive disorder, Tourette’s, epilepsy, general anxiety disorder and post-traumatic stress disorder.
I wonder what else that little implant could do?
More below.
DARPA developing implant to monitor brain in real time
This sure has stimulated my creative brain: push a button and act like a duck, march in perfect step; grab that gun, vote for so and so...etc., etc.,
I do understand why others love to control others, but what I don't understand is why so many others allow others to control their every move. Do they Not Have A Choice? You know, those who follow the sometimes charismatic idiots in politics, religion, military, corporations, media, etc., etc.
Anyways here are a couple of links to some other DARPA Projects.

More DARPA Projects
The crossover connections from military to medical projects are particularly disturbing to me, though I'm sure many will marvel at the inventions and think some is real progress.
Years ago the DARPA was part of the Defense Department's website, but I didn't see it on the latest DOD website earlier today. I'm very curious why it seems to have separated itself???
Anyone here see a plus to getting a brain implant thingy from DARPA?
Kind of gives a whole different meaning when someone warns you to 'Do Not Push My Buttons'....
