Yes I know this may make me a concern troll, no need to note it.
But I've been reading some of the success stories about Obamacare.
And what I've noticed is that the people who write these stories are generally quite computer literate, have access to a computer, and are politically active.
Of course that describes many of the people on DailyKos.
But it does raise the question. How about some guy named Chuck in Western Alabama with sixth grade education. Who may not have access to a computer. Who doesn't read DailyKos.
Does Chuck know about ObamaCare? Would he be able to logon to the system and evaluate the options?
Obama says its not all about the website, which is true.
But it is all about the website in the sense that the website is how people interface with Obamacare.
So if the website doesn't work, or if people aren't informed, or if the website requires more computer-literacy than people have, then people won't be able to access the Obamacare. I guess the phone system is designed for that, and the Navigators are supposed to help, but I'm not sure how effective these have been.
So I pose the question: is Obamacare going to be accessible to the millions of people that it is designed to help?
