Well he's partially right about that:

On Tuesday, former U.S. Rep. Allen West, R-Fla., doubled down on his support of U.S. Rep. Tom Cotton, R-Ark., who is looking to defeat U.S. Sen. Mark Pryor, D-Ark., next year. Republicans across the nation have pointed to this race as crucial to flipping the Senate in 2014.
“Representative Tom Cotton, candidate for U.S. Senate in Arkansas, urgently needs our help,” West emailed supporters on Tuesday. “Tom Cotton is a great American patriot, and we would all be well-served to have him representing us in the United States Senate. That's why the Allen West Guardian Fund has endorsed him."
West bashed the “far left” for “mercilessly attacking” Cotton and insisted “with less than one year until Election Day now, I suspect their assault will only escalate.” - Sunshine State News, 11/5/13
I don't know who this "far left" West is talking about but I will say that progressive groups and Democrats are certainly going to come out and stop Tea Party Congressman Tom Cotton (R. AR) from defeating Senator Mark Pryor (D. AR). By the way, West really has taken a liking to Cotton which makes sense because they're both Tea Party lunatics:

Former U.S. Rep. Allen West, R-Fla., went to bat for U.S. Rep. Tom Cotton, R-Ark., on Thursday. Cotton is taking on U.S. Sen. Mark Pryor, D-Ark., in 2014 and, with Arkansas trending Republican, the GOP has high hopes of winning the race.
“Tom is a rising star in the Republican Party and without a doubt one of the brightest spots in American politics today,” West emailed supporters on Thursday. “The left knows they're in grave danger of losing control in the Senate if they can't defend this seat, so they're already gunning for Tom. More than a year before Election Day, the Democrat establishment is running ads smearing Tom's record in Congress with lies and trying desperately to destroy his character.”
West insisted his Allen West Guardian Fund PAC is “building up an arsenal to defeat the left's attacks against Tom and all of our endorsed candidates, and our goal is to raise $250,000 online between now and the end of the year.” - Sunshine State News, 10/31/13
But West is also spreading his love and support to some other Tea Party nuts:

Former U.S. Rep. Allen West, who has opened the door to a political comeback in 2016, offered a round of endorsements to Republicans across the country on Wednesday. The Allen West Guardian Fund PAC endorsed U.S. Rep. Tom Cotton, R-Ark., who is running against U.S. Sen. Mark Pryor, D-Ark., in 2014. West also backed Republican congressional candidates Mia Love, who is angling for a rematch against U.S. Rep. Jim Matheson, D-Utah, and Don Bogino who is looking to challenge U.S. Rep. John Delaney, D-Md. West also backed tea party favorite E.W. Jackson who is running for lieutenant governor of Virginia in November. - Sunshine State News, 10/9/13
Not sure how much help West will be for Cotton but Arkansas Democrats are well aware of the tough race Pryor has to face next year but Pryor as quite a few factors working in his favor:

Sarah Huckabee Sanders, a Republican consultant who ran Boozman’s 2010 campaign, said Cotton is the strongest challenger Republicans could put up against Pryor, but no one should be counting the incumbent out at this point.
That’s thanks in part to his father, David Pryor, who served in the Senate until 1997.
“Arkansas is still a state that loves the Pryor family, and although some of the polling numbers might not reflect that, you’re going to see his dad and some of the old guard that the state respects come out in large numbers and campaign aggressively for Pryor,” Sanders said. “I think that will have an impact that you can’t really measure in polls.”
In a state in which Obama took only 37 percent of the vote, it begs the question of where Pryor’s votes will come from. Until three years ago, three of the four House districts were held by Democrats even as President George W. Bush won the state twice. So there are populations of swing voters to reach across the state.
That includes the bedroom communities of Pulaski County around Little Rock in the 2nd District, which could have a competitive open-seat House race. All of the counties Obama won were in central Arkansas or on the eastern edge of the state, in the 1st District.
Swing voters in Cotton’s 4th District, which encompasses most of the southern and western regions of the state, could also be in play, even though Cotton’s margin closely mirrored the statewide vote. Much of that area was represented for 12 years by Democrat Mike Ross, who retired last year and is running for governor in 2014. Some Arkansas Democrats believe sharing the ballot with Ross could give Pryor a major boost there.
“They’re going to turn out the vote from south Arkansas like never before,” one state Democratic consultant said, “and that will help Pryor a lot.” - Roll Call, 11/4/13
