We all know Bill Maher is a rather loud Athiest, so he's got some history heaping harsh criticism on Christians -but in this particular case - he hits it totally out of the park.

Showing an image of Congressional Republicans captioned “Cheap of faith,” Maher said, “New rule: It’s okay if you don’t want to feed the hungry or heal the sick or house the homeless. Just don’t say you’re doing it for their own good.”
“Don’t say you’d like to help but your hands are tied,” he continued, “because if you did, it would cause a culture of dependency or go against the Bible or — worst of all — rob them of their freedom to be sick and hungry.”
“Just admit you’re selfish,” he urged conservatives. “And based upon how little your beliefs mirror the actual teachings of Jesus, you might as well claim to worship Despicable Me.”
"There's always a God Moral Reason to tell everyone you meet to Fuck Off and Die.
He makes a good point. Conservatives are making a Moral Argument that it's better to deny 5 Million People access to Medicaid rather than not. Alleged "Pastors" are leaving notes for their waiters - who are effectively working at minimum wage - saying that they give "
10% to God, why should we give 18% to you?".
There's a huge trend of Assholism that runs through the Republican and Conservative Heart.
They proclaim to be the followers of Jesus, yet they have no forgiveness for the sins of others, they shun and attempt to starve the hungry, they refuse to try and heal the sick... and then they call themselves "Godly".
It's enough to make you vomit.
