Oh wow, I just released an OK-Sen diary today but then I received news updates about this and had to release a diary:

A source close to Sen. Jim Inhofe has confirmed that his son, Dr. Perry Inhofe, was on board a plane that crashed near Owasso, Okla. on Sunday. Perry Inhofe was killed in the crash.
The Tulsa International Airport said the pilot of the plane issued an alert at 3:45 p.m. Sunday asking for immediate assistance. The plane crashed five miles north of the airport. - KOCO, 11/11/13
Here's a little more information:

Earlier local reports noted that Perry's work and home address were connected to the Mitsubishi MU-2B-25 twin turboprop that crashed outside of Tulsa this weekend. He is believed to be the only fatality from the small plane crash. Officials told the Tulsa World earlier on Monday that it would be days or weeks before the pilot was identified. Perry Inhofe was a licensed pilot and instructor and he owned two planes through a Tulsa company called Anasazi Winds, LLC, according to the World.
Like his son, Senator Inhofe is an avid flyer. According to a General Aviation News piece published earlier this fall, the Senator himself taught Perry how to fly over 30 years ago. In turn, Perry taught his son Cole how to fly. It's a family tradition. All three members of the family learned to fly on the same 1954 Grumman Tiger. - The Atlantic Wire, 11/11/13
A news conference will be held at 5 PM today, Oklahoma's time zone. You can watch the press conference here:

Dr. Perry Inhofe was an orthopedic surgeon in Tulsa. Condolences to the Inhofe family.
If my previous OK-Sen diary offended anyone, please know that it was unintentional and I received news about Inhofe's son's death a little while after my diary went live and was not at my computer to post such information. My apologies.
