Thank God for beautiful crisp mornings, clean air,and running. The news is depressing. I now go to another county to visit my oldest son in Jail. It"s the kind where you look through a screen. He laughs when I say he is on television. He has no idea why I can"t hug him.His grasp of reality is that he can"t see the sunshine, see his friends, he has spent
many stormy nights outside under a bridge. He can see the stars, and talk to his favorite
rock stars who have been dead for years.I see a six year old little boy getting ready for his first day of school. He is 33 now.
Life can be tough for all of us. Now workers in every state seem to be chasing each other
to the poor house. If you live in the Seattle area, you know someone who works at Boeing.
The Kos  already has a great story about what is about to happen to the workers who build planes here,Unions in every state need to come back stronger and fight as one nation of workers, the left need to unite ALL working people,  to stand up and join a Union or 20 years from now,the Republicans and the 1% will tell you when you may
go to the bathroom.
I believe in laughter and smiling, and working harder and harder. I once worked for a large medical sales organization. I learned to set goals and bust your butt to get there.
The secret of my success was hard work. I have never been the smartest, best looking
or best anything, but I was the best salesman in the company many times. The Republicans are the enemy,we need to set a goal of kicking butts in every state.
Call the airline you fly on. Tell them you will NO LONGER FLY on a Boeing plane.
Airbus makes planes.
Fight for the workers in Seattle and for your state. If you work for a corporation, you time is coming.
I will match the load I carry on my shoulders with anyone. I have learned from the children in a Cancer ward how to laugh and how to live. I wrote once about a girl named Amy I knew in a hospital ward. She was laughing the day she died.

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.

It was a brand new plane in the airline's fleet.

If Boeing is in any kind of trouble it is not the fault of the working men and women.

The trouble Boeing will ultimately run into concerns passenger comfort.  Having had a chances to frequently compare the two fleets, I have to say that I am always happy to see that I am on an AirBus because I know that my cheap seats will be just a bit more comfy.

Boeing should probably concentrate on these issues, and stop trying to undercut the men and women that build their products.

Isn't that just typical of the corporate mentality however? Let economy class and working class take the blow that really should be dealt to those further up the food chain.  jbg.

They have always been this way. I had an ex-father-in-law
tell me he and his fellow engineers had to scratch and fight
for every dollar in wages. That was in 1976.That is getting
out of control. Citizens United (I think that "s the Supreme
Court case) gave corporations the right to pour millions
into the Republicans. Obama still won. We have hope.

Well, at least I am not that State Senator from Idaho who
lied about an attempted rape conviction and was allowed to keep his gun. All women in Idaho should feel really safe.
