Yesterday, on a Facebook thread for this group or the Other 98 percent (or similar), I made a comment about Dick Cheney. I have made comments about him before that are liable to upset some. In fact, on more than one occasion I have stated my belief that Satan is afraid of him, which is why he hasn't died, despite his heart problems.
In yesterday's case, I did not say that. What I did say was that I would not put it past him to have forged the letter claiming that Saddam Hussein was seeking yellowcake -- and then have it "discovered" in order to justify the Iraq invasion. Of course, Joseph Wilson put a kink in that story by finding the letter to be false, but NO ONE has ever said who created the document, much like there has never been much discussion about who distorted the "White House emails" about Benghazi which were used by ABC. The media does seem consistent in being complicit about certain people lying.
Now I'd like to know how my disdain and suspicions about Cheney warrant a ban from Facebook, from even the most innocuous comments or even "liking" something. I cannot even express condolences for someone's cat dying or participate in a conversation about a new book on chronic disease.
Could someone look into this. I don't want to go "conspiracy theory" but I sure find this troubling.
