I apologize to all three of you who have come to rely on my bulletins from the asylum. I got sick. Then I was lazy. I hope you'll forgive me.
Anyway, here's a round up of all the insane behavior from Republicans that I could find. I do this because nobody aggregates all of the cray cray in one place.
I'll start with Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-MN). Republicans are unhappy that President Obama is using executive orders as part of the effort to fix healthcare.gov. They accuse him of abusing them. But not Bachmann. Oh, no. She says he has rewritten the Constitution. Her claim is actually crazier than it initially sounds.
A middle school principal in Texas banned students from speaking Spanish. She claimed her order would "prevent disruptions."
Wing Nut Daily (WND) shrieks about lifting the ban on gay men donating blood. Because only gay men can contract HIV/AIDS. At least in their feeble minds.
In Michigan, a Republican radio host and activist failed to appear in court to face criminal charges for threatening his ex-wife because he had been arrested over the weekend for extortion, stalking and possession of illegal drugs. No that's an example of Republican family values in action.
Rush Limbaugh: The Pope is ripping America ... Obama is having an orgasm.
Fox News broke yet another story about the Liberals War on Christmas. They claimed that a school took down XMas cards. Except they didn't. What's crazy is that Fox News pushed an uncorroborated story because it pushed their War on XMas talking point.
House Committee to discuss impeaching Obama because he's black. No wait. Because he's President. Hmmm ... no, not that. Oh yeah, because they can.
Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker's aide shows how Republicans can be more racially tolerant by using twitter.
That wasn't the only cray cray emanating from Wisconsin. This time it was from Walker himself. He suggested donating to his campaign rather than giving a gift to your kids. Damn brats have enough crap already. Think of those poor, bereft corporations who need Walker to win reelection to protect their kick backs!
Bill O'Reilly: Jesus wouldn't help poor kids if their parents were junkies.
When BillO isn't attacking poor kids, he'll be busy busy busy yet again with his infernal War on Christmas bull**.
When the national Republicans (NRSC) attacked his Democratic opponent, this Arkansas Republican thought that the blow was so low he defended his opponent. Stay classsy, NRSC, stay classy.
Rep. Duncan Hunter (R-CA) stated that it was part of middle eastern culture to lie during negotiations. Not like Republicans. Who lie about nearly anything. All the time. Not just during negotiations.
Hunter wasn't done though. In the same interview he said if we need to go to war with Iran (and don't ALL Republicans already agree that we should), we should nuke 'em.
Washington Times (aka the Mooney Times): Romney redeemed by Detroit bankruptcy. No, you Moonies, Romney was talking about the auto manufacturers. Nitwits.
California GOP creates fake healthcare website.
