I have a tendency to bite off more that I can chew... for everything. Work, school, life, projects...
The good news... I do always finish what I start. Sometimes I just have to start again.
What Are You Working On

This is a wall hanging that has now been almost 4 years in the making.
The motifs are crochet-- the yarn was leftover from making a sweater. That part went really quickly. They are 8 to 14 inches in diameter each to give you an idea of the size of the project.
It's the quilting that slowed me down... first there was a medical issue (DVT) that had me one-handed for several months, and then just catching up on everything from being one-handed.
I worked on it in big spurts last summer, and thought I might get it finished. Then came the semester of teaching 10 hours while taking 12 hours... what I have been working on is HOMEWORK--lots of it... and grading papers. Again the good news-- I finish what I start. The semester is almost over and has slowed down to a manageable pace.
I am back to working on that wall hanging... there is a blank spot on my wall that NEEDS it. So my goal is to work on it for at least 30 minutes each day through the end of the year-- that should actually do it!
Here's where I could use some advice-- what do you think for the border? I am truly open to suggestions. I am just so excited to have the end in sight for this one!
