Dick Cheney told Fox viewers on Monday that he thinks New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie is "a promising figure" in the Republican Party, but quickly added:
I don't agree with him on a lot of things. I'm more conservative than he is.
For example:
I wasn't a fan of the way he welcomed Barack Obama to New Jersey when the hurricane hit.
I guess this means that in Dick Cheney's world, Chris Christie should have banned President Obama from entering New Jersey, refused Federal assistance, and spent the final days of the campaign stumping for Mitt Romney instead of trying to deal with the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy. And that makes complete sense, because if Chris Christie truly cared about America, instead of trying to help his state recover from Hurricane Sandy, he would have been working to protect his country from the destructive power of Typhoon Obama.
