I've told this before ,
but I am going to tell it again .
I was working on an 80 foot maxi class .
The owner was an sob ,
he hired some really sketchy people ,
his number 1 had a young Japanese surfer girl as a "girlfriend" .
He , the number 1 , was a womanizer , he enjoyed "scoring" .
His Japanese girlfriend was on board one evening and he wasn't .
Another crew member took her below and was feeding her drinks ,
he was getting her drunk ,
it was clear what he was doing ,
he was in violation of the rules by having her below and giving her drinks ,
he was giving drink after drink to a young woman who was not his girlfriend ,
she was unhappy about her boyfriend ,
I was watching all this happen ,
I was not drinking ,
the sob got called by the captain ,
when the sob was on deck talking in the cockpit to the captain
I took the girl and put her my car and drove away ,
she lived in Waikiki ,
I drove her to her apartment ,
along the way from Kewalo basin to Waikiki we talked ,
she said the her boyfriend had sex with her , her first ,
and that he was not treating her correct ,
I knew him to be a low life womanizer who just wanted her for sex ,
I told her that he really didn't care for her and that she should find someone who really did .
I parked in the middle of the driveway for her building
and took her up to her 2nd floor apartment ,
when we got inside she went to the kitchen sink and puked up a few times ,
I stood behind her supporting her and held her hair ,
when she was done puking her knees folded and she went a little down ,
I grabbed her up and took her over to the sofa ,
I watched her for awhile and she didn't show any indication of any more puking ,
so I took her off of the sofa and put her on her bed ,
looking back I have no clue why ,
sofa or bed is the same same ,
I left locking the door behind me with her keys ,
I tossed the keys in the window next to the front door .
The next day it was reported that the sob who was feeding her drinks "only wanted her breasts".
The next time I saw her she thanked me .

I wonder how she is .
I hope she found someone who really cares ,
she was a good kid .

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
