I hang up a bunch of lights inside my house from the ceiling beams for the holiday season of lights. The room has huge glass windows that face south. Actually the entire south wall of the room is windows. The room has a ceiling which is two stories tall at the south end and one story tall at the north end...so it slopes down. When I put lights on each ceiling beam it creates a very 3D look as you drive or walk by our home. It's really a very cool looking deal.
I've included a still shot and a short video (which is wobbly). Neither actually gets what it really looks like across at all. I couldn't walk and take a video at the same time, so the 3D effect is lost...but at least you'll have an idea of what our home looks like during the season of lights.
Show me pics of any season of lights you've put up at home.
Kitchen Table Kibitzing is a community series for those who wish to share part of the evening around a virtual kitchen table with kossacks who are caring and supportive of one another. So bring your stories, jokes, photos, funny pics, music, and interesting videos, as well as links—including quotations—to diaries, news stories, and books that you think this community would appreciate.
Readers may notice that most who post diaries and comments in this series already know one another to some degree, but newcomers should not feel excluded. We welcome guests at our kitchen table, and hope to make some new friends as well.
