The utter idiocy of this poll boggles the mind
PRINCETON, NJ -- Seventy-two percent of Americans say big government is a greater threat to the U.S. in the future than is big business or big labor, a record high in the nearly 50-year history of this question.
Sure they go on and try to explain the result with no actual basis for their observations, but the headline is what counts and supports the age old Republican meme.
Government is evil.
How many will actually read the reasoning? What will the headlines be?
How about adding more options to the poll?
Rank [1 to 10] the biggest threats [1 lowest threat 10 highest threat] to the country in the future:
Big Government
Big Business
Unions
Climate Change
Income inequality
National Security Agency
Military Industrial Complex
Republican Party
Democratic party.
Mainstream media
If you rank them in the comments I will add them up and publish the results in another diary [if anyone else bothers]
Just to get a flavor or a trend I have added a Gallop style poll at the end, choose goddammit
