Recently I’ve heard a lot of talk, especially criticism of the current president, as far as how his year went. Some in the media say a bad year, one on a supposed left leaning outlet described his year as bruising.
What are they looking at? Is it just human nature to want others to fail? To find fault in others?
Is it a bad year for a president to continue leading the way and making progress out of the worst recession in American history?
Is it a bad year for a president, after others had tried for 100 years, to actually and now fully implement a health care system where any American citizen who wants health care can now afford it? Of all the industrialized nations on the planet the United States was the lone exception to not already have done this.
Is it a bad year to have avoided war number three and four just in this century in the middle east for this country? How many American lives have been saved by not having a replay of the Iraq War with Syria? Would a war with Syria have cost three trillion as estimates say the Iraq War will eventually cost the American taxpayers? Maybe it would have been a discount war and only cost one or two trillion?
Mr. President you have my best wishes for another bad year. Maybe your bad year in 2014 will include immigration reform, an economy that continues to improve and just to be sure of another bad year maybe end the war in Afghanistan?
