Dardenne Offers Solution for Duck Dynasty family, state aid for the television reality show because Freedom, Money and Mo Money!
Duck Dynasty has been huge for Louisiana. I want it to continue to entertain America.— Jay Dardenne (@JayDardenne) December 20, 2013
Yes this is directly from Jay Dardennes website
(BATON ROUGE, LA) - If A&E is unable to resolve its dispute with the cast of Duck Dynasty, Lt. Governor Jay Dardenne is prepared to use his influence among Louisiana’s growing motion picture industry to seek out alternative production options.Mr. Dardenne what about the poor in your state, what about healthcare why aren't you prepared to work hard for them, the citizens in your state need an answer, now!
"Regardless of one's views on Phil Robertson's statements, Duck Dynasty has been an important representation of the state of Louisiana, inspiring prospective visitors and investors since its debut. Their show draws tens of millions of viewers each year, reaching an audience eager to visit Sportsman's Paradise," Lt. Governor Dardenne said. "If the Robertson family cannot come to an agreement with A&E and wants to continue the show, Louisiana already has the infrastructure in place to maintain their record-breaking program.”
I am prepared to work with the motion picture industry in Louisiana to keep @DuckDynastyAE on-air if they cannot reach an agreement w/ A&E.— Jay Dardenne (@JayDardenne) December 21, 2013
The lieutenant governor does not envision state government getting directly involved in "Duck Dynasty" production or giving extra financial subsidies to show, although the series is probably already taking advantage of state film tax credits. Instead, he offered to connect the Robertsons with people who might be able to continue "Duck Dynasty" if the family no longer works with A&E.But ,Bobby Jindal would be against this Right, Right?
Please Proceed Governor!
Governor Jindal said, “Phil Robertson and his family are great citizens of the State of Louisiana. The politically correct crowd is tolerant of all viewpoints, except those they disagree with. I don’t agree with quite a bit of stuff I read in magazine interviews or see on TV. In fact, come to think of it, I find a good bit of it offensive. But I also acknowledge that this is a free country and everyone is entitled to express their views. In fact, I remember when TV networks believed in the First Amendment. It is a messed up situation when Miley Cyrus gets a laugh, and Phil Robertson gets suspended "
This is more than the Stupid Party, this is the party of money by any means necessary, money that is not allocated to education, healthcare or the needs of the poor and middle class in Louisiana. A television show about the rich pretending to be poor, to get richer is more important to Lt. Gov. Dardenne than the actual poor.
Dardenne doesn't agree with some of Robertson's statements. "My view is that blacks clearly did not enjoy equality under the law before Civil Rights," he said.Clearly Blacks did not enjoy equality, WTF does that mean?
